The coordination of the tasks will be implemented through three main tools which imply the use of ICT skills:

  • A web working group, Europroject07@yahoogroups.com. This group is already working, and is the way for teachers to share communications, questions and files, and will be the main tool to coordinate the project.

  • A web messenger service integrated in an E-twinning parallel project. These tools are very popular among young people, and will be the way for communication for our students to share their work. The development and management of this tool will be through the students themselves, in order to give them greater responsibility when they use ICT, and allowing them to work more independently and effectively.

  • This web site, which development and responsibility will fall under the coordinator school, using their own ICT project resources already in place. This web wite will be a place for in-service training tools, training papers and materials, seminars, virtual exhibitions and magazines.

Students’ active work is essential for the development of the project. It will be based on teacher oriented activities, and additional activities selected and managed by their own students, referred to some topics, by themselves or as a joint project with their partners.

  • The essential work duties for all the partners will be:

  • Natural environment descriptions of each country

  • Socioeconomic descriptions of each village

  • Main environmental challenges of each community

  • Sustainable development policies in each zone

Following these items, shared and individual activities will be developed in the order of:

  • Possible climate change impacts in each country

  • Comparisons of the socioeconomic progress in each community

  • Comparisons of the customs and culture of the participants

  • Comparisons of the problems of the youth culture in each country.

The evaluation must be permanent on the part of the coordinating country. It will be reviewed at the periodic meetings. It will be based  on the following topics:

  • Number of tasks carried out by each partner.

  • Number of joint activities carried out by students from different countries.

  • How many of these activities were taken as a reference for teaching work.

At the same time, opinion polls will be made before and after the development of the project, in order to analyze:

The degree of students’ knowledge about their own and partners’ environment.

  • Degree of knowledge about environmental challenges.

  • Degree of knowledge about their partners’ history and culture.

  • Degree of knowledge about their membership to the European Union
